Quality
Our Quality department consists of team of engineers reporting to Quality Manager. QA personnel's regular activities are:
- Understanding customer requirements and conveying them to production team
- Dedicated personnel for tooling inspection and sample inspections during development
- Generating and monitoring quality plans
- Planned as well as surprise visit to supplier facility for in process inspection
- Dedicated personnel for visual inspection
- Final Inspection
- Handling non-conformities, finding its root cause and effecting CAPA
- Assessing effectiveness of CAPA
- Continual Improvement in quality of castings and machined components
We have in-house quality checking equipment like:
- CNC controlled co-ordinate measuring machine ( CMM )
- Microstructure image microscope
- Hardness testing machine
- 2D measurement machine
- Surface roughness tester
- Vernier calipers, micrometers ( up to 1000 mm)
- Spline micrometers and chordial thickness micrometer ( for gears)
- Gear profile testing machine
- Meshing equipment to inspect gear backlash
- Go-nogo gauges and thread gauges for each component we supply
